బురతీనా సాహస కృత్యాల గురించి నేను నా స్నేహితులకి, మగపిల్లలకీ ఆడపిల్లలకీ, చెబుతూ వుండేవాణ్ణి. కాని ఆ పుస్తకం పోయింది. అంచేత ఆ పుస్తకంలో లేని రకరకాల సాహస కృత్యాలు చేర్చి కథని మార్చిమార్చి చెప్పేవాణ్ణి.

బాలలూ, యిప్పుడు యెన్నో యేళ్లు గడిచేయి. నా జ్ఞాపకాలు బురతీనా మీదకి మళ్లుతున్నాయి. అంచేత ఆ చిన్న కొయ్య బొమ్మ అతి సాహస కృత్యాల గురించి మీకు చెప్పాలని తీర్మానించుకున్నాను.
