Psychology As You May Like It – Platonov

In this post, we will see the book Psychology As You May Like It by K. Platonov.

About the book

This is not a textbook of psychology, nor even merely a popular exposition of old truisms.
The author, a well-known psychologist, has collected in this book a large number of questions of interest to young people and has answered them briefly, popularly, entertain ingly and in keeping with modern knowledge.
To be sure, is there anyone in our days who may not wonder what the people of the coming communist society will have to be like? Or may not care to learn how to develop the will, memory and attention? Or may not want to know what conscience, duty and love are from the standpoint of psychol ogy? Or may not be interested in whether telepathy is pos
sible, whether or not dogs and ants have consciousness, what are dreams, and so on and so forth?
The text includes some of the simplest psychological experr ments which any reader can perform and which are conducive to a better understanding of the laws governing mental activity and manifesting themselves in work and everyday life.
The book is intended for the broadest circles of readers.

The book was translated from Russian by was published in 1965 by Progress Publishers.

About the book

(Chemical Elements How They Were Discovered (Bangla)

In this post, we will see the book (Chemical Elements How They Were Discovered in Bengali).

About the book

Moscow Tourist Guide

In this post, we will see the book Moscow Tourist Guide.

About the book

Visitors to Moscow fall under the spell of its spacious squares and prospects, its numerous boulevards and embankments, pic turesque by-streets and parks. And there are also the Muscovites, industrious, energetic and cordial folk who have made the city what it is today and who are determined to make it the fine city they need and want for the morrow.
Realizing that tourists may have only a very short time at their disposal – occasion ally just one or two days—this booklet has been written to make a point of “the most interesting sights.” It starts off with a gene ral picture of Moscow and then concentrates on the city’s districts with different Metro (subway) stations as the starting points.
If, as you read these pages, you come to have a fuller appreciation of the capital’s great heritage, where history has been care fully preserved and is in the making, you, too, will risk leaving a bit of your heart here.

Recueil De Problèmes De Géométrie Analytique Et D’ Algèbre Linéaire par L. Beklémichéva; A. Pétrovitch; I. Tchoubarov
