use a flatbed scanner if possible, at least 300 dpi, color (if not then grayscale not b/w). if you are scanning with a phone then make sure that phone is kept fixed (on a stand) and the distance between book and phone is same for all the photos.

you can add it directly to internet archive, or you can send it to us ( mirtitles@gmail.com) for processing (OCR, adding bookmarks, covers) etc. either way, let us know when you add the file.
