I am not able to locate a book with that title. I have tried worldcat.org which is one of the most comprehensive catalogs of books. Can you share the details of that publication?

Hello! I have MIR PUBLISHERS, MATHEMATICAL HANDBOOK – HIGHER MATHEMATICS by
    M. VYGODSKY. Fifth Printing 1987. It is a 872 page little less than B5 size (Half of A4) hard-cover bound book.
That means 486 pages A4 size. Just wondering how to Scan myself. Then can be uploaded. I tried the NET. It’s not available anywhere. I used it sometimes myself during my IIT Kharagpur days. Can anybody suggest a quality Hand-held scanner ?

You can use any regular flatbed scanner for this purpose. Scan at 300 dpi in gray scale, with tiff as output and 2-in-1 scan as you described. Then you can use wonderful scan-tailor software to correct and separate pages. For final binding into pdf and ocr there are many tools available depending on the os you use. Let me know once the scan is done.

Hey There! I can not thank you enough for what you are doing… It is so great that you upload these books for the larger benefit…

But ofd late I have observed that the archive does not show all the books uploaded. Earlier I used to witnes a larger collection of books spanning all kinds of genres viz children story book, physics, psychology, chemistry etc. Now the archive looks much leaner..

By any chance have you deleted some of the books from the archive ? If not could you share the link where I can see all the collection ??
