Aristotle (Man Through The Ages Series) by Alexei Losev; Aza Takho-Godi
In Ancient Greece there was no philosopher with a more encyclopedic scope than Aristotle (384-322 BC). He was a man who always looked first and foremost for the meaning of reality and formulated the truths he discovered as broadly and deeply as possible.
In studying Aristotle’s biography in detail, one cannot fail to be amazed at how consistently and naturally his philosophy coincided with his life.
The book deals with the basic facts or Aristotle’s biography and main points of his philosophical system.

The Nature Of Science by V. Ilyin; A. Kalinkin
The nature of science, its conditioning factors, and its boundaries with everyday experience, mythology, art, morality, and religion are explored in this volume. The authors, Viktor Ilyin and Anatoli Kalinkin, investigate the criteria that define scientificity, tracing the origin of science from pre-scientific knowledge to modern scientific rationality. They categorise different types of knowledge and offer a unique perspective on the evolution of science as an independent, dynamic system governed by its own laws. This comprehensive analysis marks a pioneering effort in understanding science as a distinct form of conceptualising reality. Both Ilyin and Kalinkin, noted philosophers from Moscow University, contribute significant research in epistemology and logic.

Lomonosov’s Philosophy by G. Vasetsky
Lomonosov has greatly contributed to the development of advanced philosophical conceptions. Advocates of idealism and theology still attempt to distort the materialist essence of his worldview, trying to present it as entirely religious.
Soviet philosophers have demonstrated that Lomonosov was one of the most outstanding proponents of materialism in the 18th century. They regard him as the founder of a trend in Russian materialist philosophy that was closely tied to natural science. His brilliant attempt to create a unified materialist system concerning the nature of things was the first of its kind in Russia. Soviet scholars have written extensively about his philosophical concepts and principles, yet not all aspects of his philosophy have been explored with the depth they deserve.
For instance, his sociology remains understudied. A more thorough investigation is needed on philosophical issues such as his concept of matter and its properties, the process of cognition, and the elements of dialectics in his works. Unfortunately, his ethical views have also not been adequately examined or scientifically appraised. These views, in particular, were often distorted by the proponents of idealism and religion.
The primary aim of this book is to address these gaps in understanding and to deepen our knowledge of the philosophy of this great Russian scientist.

Studies In Psychology – The Collective And The Individual by A. V. Petrovsky
Marx points out that true research is detailed truth. It is research—both theoretical and experimental—which reproduces the process being studied under deliberately changed conditions, that makes it possible to discover the truth.
This book is devoted to solving this task in relation to the social psychology of interpersonal relations and of the individual as the subject of these relations. The reader will find out the views of one Soviet psychologist, the author of the book, but the latter hopes that through this visual prism of psychological facts, the reader will get a clearer view of the fundamentals of the theory of Soviet psychology as a coherent system of scientific knowledge. This is yet another of the tasks of these studies. Taking into account that the foreign reader, interested in the state of Soviet social psychology, may very probably not be acquainted with the general course of development of psychology in the USSR, the author has preceded the main part of the book with a brief historical introduction (Chapter I), thus including the problems of social psychology worked out by Soviet psychologists in the context of the development of world psychology, and elucidating the links between these problems and the main trends of the development of psychology in the USSR.
Prof. Petrovsky has written and edited two hundred scientific works, Including the books Psychology, The History of Soviet Psychology, General Psychology, Age-Group and Pedagogical Psychology, The Social Psychology of the Collective, The Psychological Theory of the Collective, and The Individual Activity and the Collective. His books have been translated and published in Bulgaria, the GDR, China, Cuba, Romania, Czechoslovakia, West Germany, Finland and Japan. In 1971- 1972 Prof. Petrovsky was a member of the UNESCO International Commission on the Development of Education he published a Joint monograph Learning To Be in 1972). Since 1972, he has been a member of the General Assembly of the International Association of Scientific Psychology.

Fundamentos De La Teoria De Los Numeros por I. M. Vinográdov
