Pakistan Philosophy And Sociology by M. T. Stepanyants

A number of books and articles have appeared on Pakistan and other countries on the historical background oi the partition and formation of the Pakistan State as well as political, social and economic developments In the country since 1947. But little has been published on philosophical activity in Pakistan over that period.
This collection of essays goes Into the ontological and gnosiological views of Pakistan’s philosophers and describes the main trends of ethical thought in the country. The two last essays deal with the concepts of Islamic democracy and socialism. The book is a translation of the 1967 Russian edition.
