In this post, we will see the illustrated children’s book The Stolen Sun
by Kornei Chukovsky.

In the book, a crocodile steals the Sun, which is then brought back by a bear. The book is beautifully illustrated:

The book was translated from the Russian by Dorian Rottenberg and was illustrated by Yuri Vasnetsov. The book was first published by Raduga Publishers in 1965, this scan is from the 1989 reprint.
