Jug With Gold Coins: A Moldovian Folk Tale – Grigore Botezatu

In this post, we will see another children’s illustrated storybook: Jug With Gold Coins Moldovian Fairy Tale by Grigore Botezatu.

The book is about three brothers who are told by their dying father about a treasure buried in their farm. The brothers dig up the entire farm in search of the treasure. In this process, they themselves become hardworking farmers and thus discover “a jug of gold”.

The book was translated by Irina Zheleznova and drawings are by A Sviatchenko. The book was published by Kishinev Literatura artistika in 1986.
