For now one can start with cataloging the books that have been digitised: lets say Science for Everyone and Little Mathematics Library series

I believe its about all the Soviet books on mirtitles.org, just confirming. Also shall one has to enter the details of books and click save button. Asking this as I have not used Google drive.

You can also add books that are not on our site. You don’t have to save separately, the changes in the spreadsheet are saved automatically.

Hey, I’d done some work on this a long time back, so basically set up an excel sheet to take all the titles from the html page (https://archive.org/details/@mirtitles?&sort=-publicdate&page=5) and convert that into a list. I saved the results (from when I’d updated the list) in your google sheet. Let me know if this useful, I can try to update.

Can you add a column saying -wanted for website. From your posts I understand there are books you own but not scanned as yet. Can help volunteers be on lookout for /procure the ones that are required.

There is already a column indicating that at the end of the list

Dear The Mitr,
Do we need to first look at the entries already made, to avoide duplication of entry, or there is any inbuilt function that would resolve that. I have already a list of about 700 titles, I can copy and paste on the spread sheet if thats possible. I am asking as I have not used google drive.

Yes. please do look for duplicate entries.

It’s great how you and everyone else is working to keep an era from fading away.
I searched everywhere for English translations of Nikolai Dubov’s book “The Fugitive” but I haven’t been able to find them still. If anyone sees this and has them, please provide the ebooks or links, and if you have a hard copy, I will pay for getting them scanned and uploaded!
