In this post, we will see the book The Life Of The Plant: Ten Popular Lectures by Kliment Timiryazev.

About the book

The present edition is the authorized English translation of Timiryazev’s The Life of the Plant. The translation was made by A. Sheremetyeva and published in London in 1912. Professor A. N. Beketov’s review of the book and the forewords to the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth Russian editions have been translated by R. Dixon. The English translation has been checked with the Russian text of the book included in Volume IV of Timiryazev’s Works (Moscow, 1938) and the appropriate changes have been made.
