N.N. Rykalin, Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences, D.Sc. (Tech.), author of 10 monographs and over 400 papers. He headed the laboratory at the Baikov Institute of Metallurgy (of the USSR Academy of Sciences) until his death in 1985.
A.A. Uglov, D. Sc. (Tech.), now head of the laboratory at the Baikov Institute of Metallurgy, has penned 9 monographs and over 500 papers.
I.V. Zuev, D.Sc. (Tech.), head of the chair at the Moscow Power Engineering Institute, has 3 monographs and more than 200 papers to his credit.
A.N. Kokora, Cand. Sc. (Tech.), head of the laboratory of the Scientific Center of Industrial Lasers at the USSR Academy of Sciences, author of 5 monographs and more than 150 papers.
